Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay
Holding a whopping 1,300,000 gallons of water, the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay is home to more than 2,000 animals including sharks, endangered green sea turtles, and a Komodo dragon. The facility is 95,000 square feet and features numerous displays in addition to the aquarium.
Feeding stingrays and turtles, and swimming with sharks, is definitely a memorable experience and part of the exhibit’s Animal Encounters program, which combines education and fun. But watch your fingers, piranhas might swim in these waters, too.

FlyLINQ
Experience one of the only Ziplines on the Las Vegas Strip.
Riders zoom from 12 stories above the LINQ Promenade towards the High Roller Observation Wheel. You can ride either seated or in a flying position.
The zipline reaches speeds of up to 35 miles per hour, soaring 1,121 feet.
WHY IT IS GREAT FOR KIDS: Although this is a concise adventure for kids, it is worth every second. They will love the exhilaration of the motorized zip line, and they get to see the city from a completely different perspective!
Madame Tussauds
If you’re pretty certain your kids will never get the chance to hop up on stage with Beyonce, why not take them to do the next best thing? Perform alongside a wax version of Queen Bey herself!
Madame Tussauds is one of the most beautiful Vegas exhibits for kids, giving because them an up close and personal experience with movie stars, musicians, sports stars, and superheroes. With the traditional velvet ropes gone, visitors can inspect and investigate more than 100 wax models.
But I wouldn’t recommend climbing on the wrecking ball with Miley.

The Adventuredome at Circus Circus Hotel
If the screams don’t tip you off, the roar of the roller coaster overhead will let you know you’ve entered the biggest amusement park in Las Vegas.
From cork-screwed coasters to hidden pirate coves, the Adventuredome is a great place to drop off your teens for an all-day adventure. Located in Circus Circus, the experience includes more than coasters and coves. Get your face painted at one of the many kiosks, shoot hoops for stuffed animals, flip upside down on the El Loco or enjoy one of the free acrobatic shows at the Midway Carnival (located further into the casino). The Adventuredome is a local favorite with reasonable prices.
WHY IT IS GREAT FOR KIDS: This is truly an all-day activity, and with so much to do, there’s very little chance your kids will want to leave quickly (there are drinks for adults as well). Kids will enjoy the free circus acts as well.
Thrill Rides at The Strat
Look, it may not be your cup of tea to hang from a claw nearly 1,200 feet in the air.
But, if you have any daredevils in the family, the thrill rides at The Strat are guaranteed to scare even the most confident adventurer. And while the views from these rides are some of the most beautiful in the city, the do come along with a rush of adrenaline. However, there is an observation deck for those unwilling to brave their fear of heights.
